Electrical Stimulation

At Lucas Rehabilitation, we use electrical stimulation therapy as part of our evidence-based rehabilitation programs to help reduce pain, improve muscle function, and support healing. Electrical stimulation uses controlled electrical impulses to stimulate muscles and nerves, helping improve circulation, decrease discomfort, and enhance muscle activation.

This treatment may help reduce muscle spasms, manage pain, decrease swelling, improve muscle re-education, and support recovery after injury or surgery. Electrical stimulation is commonly used for orthopedic injuries, joint pain, muscle weakness, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Our therapists incorporate electrical stimulation into individualized treatment plans designed to improve comfort, restore movement, and enhance overall functional recovery.
